Dr. Stanley C. Macaden is a founder member of Sanman. His vast experience has been in General Medicine in Oncology and he is an authority to reckon with on Palliative care. His experience spans positions he has held at various healthcare institutions in India and overseas. This has been of immense help in creating awareness about Palliative care, which is the need of the hour here with debilitating illnesses like incurable cancer and end-stage chronic medical disease. These are on the increase in India in the last decade. He represents Sanman at various forums like the Indian Association for Palliative Care and is instrumental in conducting awareness talks and workshops on the subject and is currently also spearheading ‘Project India’ of the International Collaborative involving End-of-life-care guidelines. an intense Certificate Course in Palliative care.

Founder Member and Hon. Vice President,  Sanman – Sridhar Pillalamarri

Sridhar Pillalamarri is one of the founding members of Sanman. Also, a member of Indian Cancer Society, he is involved in planning the Cancer Screening Activities of ICS. Sridhar is actively working in growing Volunteer Support to help in Cancer Screening, Hospices, Hospitals and other Support Organisations.

Professionally an Engineer with around 33+ Years of experience at various levels of Management in the field of Semiconductors and Embedded systems. Holds a Master’s Degree, in Control & Instrumentation from IIT Bombay and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.

Co – Founder & Hon Jt. Secretary, Sanman – Sneha Titus

Sneha Titus works as Assistant Professor in the University Resource Centre and School of Continuing Education, Azim Premji University. She consults with different educational organisations and mentors mathematics teachers from rural and city schools. Sneha is also actively involved in volunteering in the field of Palliative Care. She has been instrumental in setting up Sanman (www.sanman.org) which aims at promoting a culture of volunteerism and which currently provides support in various forms for patients at Kidwai Cancer Institute, Karunashraya Hospice, St. Martha’s Hospital, Rangadore Hospital and Baptist Hospital.

Founder Member and Hon. Jt. Secretary, Sanman – Jacob Chacko (Head – Resource Mobilisation)

Jacob Chacko is a practicing architect who has completed more than 1000 building projects in South India. He is very passionate about helping the marginalised and is currently involved with a whole host of NGOs. He heads Resource Mobilisation for Sanman Society and has founded “Save Lives”, a social awareness NGO. He is an active volunteer with ZCCK (Zonal Coordination Committee of Karnataka.) He is a Trustee of “Karunya Bengaluru Charitable Trust” which helps the needy and an active member of the Anti-Human Trafficking network to coordinate the rescue and rehabilitation of those who have fallen prey to human trafficking. He is a member of the Indian Cancer Society which organises cancer detection camps. And last but not the least, Mr. Jacob Chacko is also an active member of ‘Ashwasan’ to take care of the elderly.

Hon. Treasurer, Sanman – Kanthimathi

Kanthimathi was working with State Bank of Mysore and has now taken Voluntary retirement. She has been part of Sanman Society for the last 3 years and is actively involved in volunteering in the field of palliative care. She dedicates about 5 days a week in providing support in various forms to patients at Kidwai Cancer Institute, Bangalore. She has been the Treasurer of Sanman Society from its inception.

Hon. Jt. Treasurer, Sanman – Chandy P. A. (Coordinator – Child care)

P. Chandy Abraham is an ex-serviceman who served 18 years with the Indian army. He currently works with Volvo Group in Bangalore. He is very passionate about helping children who come for cancer treatment at the Kapur Ward of the Kidwai Cancer Institute. He engages with and guides parents who bring their children for cancer treatment, especially to those who also come from outstation and need all the help that they can get richard mille. He also coordinates for Blood, Medicines, Bone Marrow needles and other medication.

Hon. Palliative Care Advisor – Dr. Prabha Seshachar

Dr. Prabha is a Senior Specialist and the In-Charge Head of Community Medicine, Department of Palliative Medicine at the Kidwai Cancer Institute. Dr. Prabha is also a Palliative Care Advisor to Sanman especially since our Volunteer team helps more than 1500 patients a day at the Kidwai Cancer Institute Hospital throughout the week. Dr. Prabha also conducts regular Awareness sessions and Workshops on Palliative Care, Cancer Prevention and Communication on behalf of Sanman which are held at various locations and institutions on a need basis.

Hon. Member & Advisor Sanman – Mr. Joseph Alexander

Mr. Alexander was selected by Tata Administrative Services (TAS) and worked with 4 of the TATA Group companies (Tata Motors, Tata Ceramics, Tata International and Tata Services.) He has volunteered with Cheshire Homes, Bangalore unit, an NGO looking after girls with disabilities and elderly ladies, and held the post of Hon. Treasurer. Over 37 years experience in Materials Management, Strategic Planning, Joint ventures and Technical collaborations. “

Hon. Advisor, Program Management & Communications – Maya Chandy

Maya Chandy is a Marketing & Corporate Communication professional. Her experience covers the gamut of Branding, Advertising, Events, PR, Content & Communication. She has wide B2C, B2B sector experience in Real Estate, Healthcare, Tourism, Education, Sport and CSR, HR services, and Information Technology.  Previously she had set up the Marketing Communication Department at Embassy Group and is currently a Content Lead for a B2B Marketing Services agency. She volunteers with Sanman for their Program Management and Communication requirements.
